Bulldogs succumb to injuries

Ben Hannant is another one of the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs injuries woes with the prop expected to miss at least of month of football after requiring knee surgery. Hannant was injured during the Bulldogs’ brutal 36-18 victory over Brisbane on Friday night and may not be fit in time for the opening State Of Origin in Sydney on May 26. In more bad injury news for the Bulldogs, winger Josh Morris will also undergo surgery after fracturing his eye socket in the same game while Ben Roberts and Yileen Gordon are expected to miss several weeks. In positive news, David Stagg has been cleared of any serious injury after being stretchered from the field against the Broncos

Round 1 Teams – Bulldogs Update

With less then a week to go before the season starts, I have decided to start updating coaches with as much ammunition as possible regarding the team line ups before the ‘Unlimited Trades’ ability sorely comes to an end. For new coaches please be aware that after Round 1 closes for the commencement of the season, you will begin to only be able to use 2 Trades per round with a total of 30 trades allowed for the season. Also new coaches be aware that the head to head matches Within the NEX Cup do not begin until Round 4, but if your in it for the car you definitely want to hit the ground running. Only one week till all is right within my universe – bring on the league !!

Coach Moore said Heka Nanai ($84,100 CTW) and Junior Tia Kilifi ($132,500 CTW) were in a race to replace injured tryscoring machine Bryson Goodwin (toe) ($131,900 CTW) on the wing for the round one clash with Newcastle, while Yileen Gordon ($107,400 CTW/2RF), Gary Warburton ($181,800 2RF) and Mickey Paea ($161,100 FRF/2RF) were in the frame for injured second-rower Dene Halatau (ankle)($174,800 2RF/CTW). Ben Barba ($91,100 HLV) is likely to be used as a bench utility in 2010 with Michael Ennis ($265,700 HOK) to take over from the great Hazem El Masri as goalkicker.
