We have a new NEX Premiership Cup title holder for 2010; Congratulations to Coach Jahred and his mighty Saints.

What a season it has been, the Saints were up there from day one, setting the standard for rest of us to follow.  Coach Jahred did have some early competition for the minor premiership in the form of Coach Shane and his Sabian Sonors but they rarely put a foot wrong leading into the finals with their last loss for the season came in round 21 against the Eagles.  

Coach Mark and The C-MEN had an impressive season too, a record score of 823 in round 13, finished 2nd on the NEX ladder at the end of the regular season and scored straight wins in the finals series to earn the right to have a crack at the Holy Grail.  

So this was it, after 25 rounds of NRL Dream Team, 15 rounds of head to head matches in the NEX regular season and three more rounds in the finals series it all came down to this weekend, round 26 to decide who the best NEX coach was for 2010.    

The Saints had the best attacking record of the two teams in the regular season with 10,604 points and The C-MEN with the best defensive record conceding only 9,556 points.  Unfortunately for The C-MEN their form during the final series fell well short of the Saints.
