NEWCASTLE five-eighth Ben Rogers will miss two games after he was found guilty of a grade one dangerous throw charge at the NRL judiciary tonight. Rogers would have been given a two-week suspension even with the guilty plea so decided to fight the charge, arising from an incident in the 63rd minute of the Knights’ 23-6 loss to the Wests Tigers at EnergyAustralia Stadium on Friday night. The No.6 will now miss the round 13 trip to Penrith and the round 14 visit by the Warriors as the Knights have the bye this weekend.

South Sydney fullback Rhys Wesser has entered the early guilty plea to a high tackle charge and will escape suspension.

There were no charges out of Monday night’s 31-16 win by Penrith over Canterbury.
